The menace of adulteration and diversion of sensitive petroleum products has been the focal point of debate after the murder of IOC's field officer, S Manjunath. In the past two years the government has announced and implemented a slew of anti adulteration measures such as Automation of Retail Outlets (RO), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) in Tank Trucks, Marker System in Kerosene and the Jan Kerosene Pariyojna. While the industry cries itself hoarse about adulteration because of wide -- and often artificial -- disparity in prices among products, ground statistics seem to tell a different story. A case at point being the state of Bihar. Out of the 2769 samples of petrol and diesel tested for adulteration in the state during 2005-06, only nine samples failed the test. The following year, 11 samples failed out of the total 2162 tested between April, 2006-February, 2007, a mere 0.5% of the sample. Moreover, the recently launched Marker System to check whether petrol is being adulterated with kerosene also throws up a contrary picture . Out of the 12360 RO audits since October, 2006, just 8 samples were found suitable enough for investigation. Given the high price differentials, adulteration is a tempting proposition for many. But is the issue of adulteration over-hyped? Or is adulteration taking place in forms which we cannot detect? Click on our Bulletin Board to join in on the debate.

HI, there:
I bought a Dell Laptop with windows 7 home premium a month ago and I reinstalled the system with the windows 7 DVD came with the Laptop. However I don't know I need to activate the windows 7 at that time.
Now after 30 days, I have a problem that, the windows message says that, my activation period has been expired. Even when I tried to input the product key on the Dell laptop, it is said that the product key is invalid.
Would you please tell me what to do except reinstalling the windows 7 if reinstallation can solve this problem.
